After an early morning departure from Dar es Salaam, we'll drive to Saadani National Park, arriving in time for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, where you'll have the opportunity to witness the diverse range of animals that call this park home, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and numerous bird species. After an eventful day, relax at a comfortable lodge within the park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.
Rise early for a thrilling morning game drive, observing the wildlife as the sun rises over the park. Discover the park's unique feature: it is the only wildlife sanctuary in Tanzania where the Indian Ocean meets the bush. Keep an eye out for wildlife near the water, such as hippos and crocodiles. You will return to the Camp/lodge for lunch and Later in the day, experience a boat safari along the Wami River, where ther will be more to see while you are taking the adventure to your heart wildlife available including waterbucks, and countless bird species. Marvel at the breathtaking coastal scenery before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Enjoy a final game drive in Saadani National Park, capturing any sightings you may have missed during the previous days. This is a great opportunity to snap those memorable photographs and bid farewell to the majestic animals of Saadani. After breakfast, we'll begin our journey back to Dar es Salaam, taking with us fond memories of this unique blend of safari and coastal paradise.
